Four Pillar: LGBT Heritage Exhibition

Four Pillars and other partners, including members at Zone Youth. We have put together an LGBT Heritage Exhibition with funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund.

This week long exhibition will show 4 of the most interesting people we believe are documented in LGBT History based on the four pillars of our charity: Mental, Emotional, Physical & Sexual health. We will show you each life, lifestyle, troubles and tortures from their era.

This exhibition, dating back to early 1800s will show you the story of; Major-general Sir Hector Macdonald, Scottish Minorities Groups, Dr James Barry & The 'Two Roberts'.

We look back on the impact they may have had on the LGBT community today and speak about how our young people, in the 21st century relate to this past.

We will be in the ACT centre from 10-5 Monday - Friday this week, closing the doors for the last time on the 24th February 2017.
