My Cup Of Tea is a photography project that revolves around people and conversations.
I’m a true believer that one conversation can change someone’s perspective, someone’s day or even life. The aim of the project is to start conversations and raise awareness through them.
I’m currently looking for Transgender volunteers to be part of the project.
I’m Praveena Venugopal, I’m a student at Glasgow School of Art - studying Masters of Design in Photography - and I’m from India.
India has a growing population of transgender people who are denied access to job opportunities, shelter, civil partnership, and health. They’re abandoned by their families and are often helpless, just because of who they are. This needs to change and My Cup of Tea is an attempt to fight hatred with conversations, kindness and love.
The project is active from June - August, 2017.
If you’re part of the Trans community, from Scotland and you’ve one hour to spare (AND LOVE TEA! Let’s not forget!), you can help raise awareness!
